Blending mineral products to specification requires a high degree of know-how, skill, and experience. Quality and consistency are essential and are achieved through the accuracy of measurement, the accuracy of the blending process, and the accuracy of particle grading.
Boud has extensive experience and knowledge in blending powders and granules, including our decorative minerals, in batches up to 5 tonnes, producing custom blends from multi-density products. With a wide range of equipment on site, we have the versatility our customers need to meet their requirements:
- 4 twin screw mixers for liquid dispersion onto granular materials
- 18 silos for raw materials delivered by road tanker
- Mixer, and packing line, dedicated to pigment powder blending, and re-packing to any pack size, starting from 50 grams
- Variety of blenders and mixers with capacities ranging from 100 to 5,000 litres
Every blending project is bespoke, we work with the customer to ensure we handle the product correctly, following and completing quality control procedures as required.
